Seat Preparation continued

 Rather than glue together 2 unequally sized pieces, it works much better to cut the smaller one into 2 equal pieces, and then make a 3 piece seat. This keeps the center of the seat free from any seams, and makes things match much better. More work, but better results. From the book, of course. :)

The plane is a no. 7 Jointing plane - longer and better for straight edges.

Ready for gluing, and still wide enough. :)
