I learned to make this chair in a class with Andy Glenn. It is a classic 3 slat ladder back as described in his wonderful book. These are similar to the JA chair, being also post and rung construction but with 3 slats instead of 2 and a significantly heavier duty construction. These seats are hickory bark, but can be made with any type of material used for woven seats. A rustic but beautiful chair.
