An unpainted Fan Back in Red Oak and Butternut. This is a Curtis Buchanan design - essentially the same design as the painted Fan Back, made a bit fancier by carving the crest rail and spindles, and with a beautiful Butternut seat! I really like how the carving on the spindles mirrors the double bobbin leg and stretcher turnings.
