These rockers are a Peter Galbert design. They are constructed using many of the same techniques as traditional Windsor chairs. The first has a Butternut seat from my Vermont friends, while the rest of the chair is White Oak from my property in Bolton, Massachusetts. The second chair is White Ash for the top, Butternut for the seat, and Sugar Maple for the bottom. All of this wood came from my Vermont friends! The sculpted spindles and seat make this an incredibly comfortable chair.
